What is Alpha?

Exploring the big questions of life, faith and meaning is important. Alpha is a place where you can bring them all. With no question being too big or too small to explore.

Alpha presents a series of interactive sessions that freely explore life and the basics of the Christian faith in a friendly, open and informal environment.

Who is Alpha for?

Alpha is for anyone who’s curious, with interesting talks designed to encourage conversation around the basics of the Christian faith. At Alpha, no question is out of bounds and you are free to discuss as much or as little as you wish.

No matter your background, you’re invited to take part. Bring a friend if you like. And if it works out that it’s not for you, you’re certainly not locked in to returning.

How does Alpha work?

Each Alpha session we share a small supper together, followed by a short video presentation to kick-start conversation in a group around a table.

Beginning July 18th 2024, we gather at 6.30pm for each Thursday evening of Term 3 (10 in total). On Saturday August 31st we take a day out of everyday life and get away together – more details will be shared during the Alpha program.

(6.30pm Thursdays 18/7, 25/7, 1/8, 8/8, 15/8, 22/8, 29/8, 5/9, 12/9, 19/9. All day Saturday 31/8. )

Location: St Matthew’s Anglican Church, 101 Matthew Flinders Avenue, Endeavour Hills VIC 3802
